Background:
With a keen interest in the art of tattooing for many years, Marisa requested an apprenticeship with Quiet Bizarre Tattoo Studio where she learnt, in depth, how to pierce and a short while later started tattooing under the guidance of Royston. In 2000, she started working at Tattoo World as a manager, tattoo artist and body piercer. Marisa decided, in 2005, to broaden her horizons and gained further experience working in London at Jacks Tattoos for 4 months. Upon her return she opened her own successful tattoo studio. Tattoolya has been open since November 2005.
